About a third show children, two-third adults. 20 photos’ subjects are named on a pencil table of contents on inside of album’s rear cover, and the people in the album have at least a dozen last names. A minority have pencil name on image. Photographers include Geo. L. Williams (Edwardsville, IL); J. A. Lindner (Edwardsville); Rundle’s Gallery (St. Louis and Edwardsville); etc. Mostly undated. 1 CDV has ink date on mount below image (“Effie Armstrong/ Taken Feb 1st 1872”).
Album is thick 16mo, velvet covers with brass rim and clasps. Some internal wear to album. Most photographs’ images very good, minor fading, some foxed. 1 Lb.
