Description
Two late Victorian gem-set brooches. The first of marquise shape with scalloped detail to the top and sides, the central raised section set with a diamond, flanked by two red gems, the second a tiered circular brooch with centrally set diamond. Lengths 3.4 to 4.6cms. Weight 11.2gms.
The condition of this lot is fair to poor, both items having surface scratches and dints consistent with age and wear. The second brooch has significant green discolouration to the metal. Red gems to the first brooch are scuffed and worn. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
