A late Victorian gold, diamond and enamel brooch. Designed as a central old-cut diamond, with tiered circles of further mainly old-cut, claw-set diamonds, to the outer circle diamonds set to stylised black enamel mounts. Estimated total diamond weight 8.20cts, H-I colour SI2-P1 clarity. Length 5.1cms. Weight 33.1gms.
The overall condition of this lot is good, with light scratches and dints to the gold in keeping with wear. The diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, some show inclusions visible to the naked eye. Estimated central principal diamond weight 1.10cts.
