Height: 29 1/8" Width: 16" Depth: 16" NOTE: The original from which this stand was reproduced, can be found in the library of Tuckahoe Plantation on the James River in Virginia. The early Georgian manor house was the home of the Randolph family and completed by 1720. About 1775, this plantation reached its peak under Colonel Thomas Mann Randolph, the grandson of the founder, and by this time its owner with 25,000 acres (approximately 12 miles) along the James River. An interesting addition in this historical footnote is that the Randolph family were cousins of the Jefferson family and it is here at Tuckahoe Plantation, that the young Thomas Jefferson lived and was tutored.
