Square mahogany tray with inlaid mother of pearl from the 18th Century. Each of the four sides of the tray are inlaid with flowers, fruits, and birds in mother of pearl. It has 2 seal marks in mother of pearl on each side. It has decorative metal embellishments on all four corners as well.
Dimensions are 9 1/2 inches wide by 2 7/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The wood has some cracking in the center of the tray. One metal corner fitting has broken off but has been retained for reattachment. One corner is missing part of the metal. A couple pieces of the mother of pearl have come off.
