Description
Square Guang-Cai porcelain brush pot from the late Qing Dynasty. Two sides of the brush pot are painted with women and men while the other two sides are painted with flowers, fruits, and butterflies. It has a decorative floral and gilt border about the top.
Dimensions are 1 7/8 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition.
Provenance: From a Chicago estate; the proprietor resided in Hong Kong from 1950-1960.
