Description
Group of 9 porcelain, fruit form scholars items from the 18th - 19th Century. Includes: a pink, turquoise, and white double peach brush washer with one side being a bowl with a sculpted bat inside and the other side being solid with a hole in the top to act as a holder for clean water; a pink and green pomegranate form box; a yellow and green Buddha's hand fruit brush washer with a wooden stand; 5 colorful, small fruit and gourd form brush washers; and a yellow and green box in the form of a squash.
Dimensions range from 2 1/4 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches high to 6 1/4 inches wide by 3 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: They are in good overall condition.
Provenance: From a Chicago estate; the proprietor resided in Hong Kong from 1950-1960.
