Description

A pair of Dietz Vesta lanterns made for the Boston & Maine Railroad. Both have correct Vesta globes that are not railroad marked. The first is a newer model with the B&M initials and a serial number of 5225 stamped on the lid. The "S" date code near the edge of the lid has been rubbed out. The second is an older model with BOSTON & Maine spelled out on the lid. The "S" date code looks like S-10-22 for 1922. Old paint is flaking off.
