Boston & Maine A&W "Adams" Tall Lantern RC Globe

Item Details

Description

An unusual model for the Boston & Maine Railroad. There are Hybrid Adams & Westlake "Adams" models (Adams lid on Reliable base) but this is a solid "Adams" model with flat verticals and a twist off base. The initials in the lid are distinctive. There is some daylight in the first "R" in "RR". This is not uncommon on this model. It has a nice applied brass plate with "C752" on the vent area. 3 digit serial numbers are not common, almost all are 4 digits. The twist off base comes off easily. It has a brass burner. The globe has a rectangular panel with B&MRR cast in the panel. The globe has a Corning "Cnx" logo.
