Description
AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR HISTORICAL PRINTS, hand-colored etching on paper (each), one titled "BATTLE OF BUNKER'S HILL" and the other "BATTLE OF LEXINGTON", each designed and engraved by John Baker (American, active 1830-1840) and published in 1832 by Humphrey Phelps in New York. Each housed under glass in a 19th-century molded-wood frame with gilt liner. Circa 1832. Battle of Bunker's Hill 14 7/8" x 19 1/2" sight, 18" x 22 1/2" OA.
Moderate to heavy toning, foxing, and staining/discoloration. Bunker's Hill with four-inch horizontal tear at lower left edge. Frames with wear. Not examined out of frames.
