1st-3rd century AD. A group of ceramic animal heads consisting of: a horse with slightly open mouth and wide, expressive eyes; a bull's head with short horns, series of dots on the forehead, large eyes and traces of white slip; a bull's head with short horns, wide eyes and mouth, buff slip over the surface. 836 grams total, 78-107mm (3 - 4 1/4"). From an old German collection; acquired before 1990. [3, No Reserve]
