George Walton (1749-1804) signed the United States Declaration of Independence as a representative of Georgia and twice served as governor of that state. He was also a U.S. Senator from Georgia, Chief Justice of the state, a congressman, and a colonel in the First Georgia Militia during the Revolution.
Condition
Minor toning to document, a bit of rubbing to edges of the frame, very good.
