Visual: The first: Generally good condition. Surface scratches and scuff marks scattered throughout. The second: Craquelure throughout. Stretcher bar creases along the four edges. An 11'' scratch with paint loss down the left edge partially affecting the signature. Large areas of varnish and paint loss upper left, lower left and in the center including in the boy's cape. Blacklight: Each: No evidence of restoration under blacklight.
