A Regency Period Piano Form Box. Mahogany box with two-tone inlay that creates the "keys" of the piano. The hinged cover opens to reveal original mirror and locking mechanism, and the exterior is adorned with a gilt metal escutcheon, all supported on turned legs; c. 1820. Most likely a sewing and music box; includes the music mechanism. The mirror shows losses of the silver, some cracking and losses to wood, repairs at the legs. ESTIMATE $200-400
