Description
After Frederic Sackrider Remington (American, 1861-1909), "Rattlesnake", patinated bronze sculpture, cast in integral bronze base with "Copyright by Frederic Remington". American West figural sculpture depicting a male cowboy wearing wooly chaps, boots and vest, carrying a gun in belt on lower back, cowboy hat on downward turned head as body torqued as horse below recoils on back hind hooves in fear or the serpentine rattlesnake on the naturalistic ground. Overall supported on a green oblong marble plinth base. Overall approximate height 22.5", width 16", depth 9.5".
