Pendant carved from pale green jade with pale brown mottling. Hong Shan was a Neolithic culture in northeastern China. Sites have been found in an area stretching from Inner Mongolia to Liaoning, about 4700- 2600 BC. Hongshan culture is known for its jade pig dragons and embryo dragons. Only 20 lots in this sale have reserves, marked with "R" at end of description.
