Alexander Roux Inlaid Renaissance Revival Credenza. Raised “plinth” style top with scrolled and incised design, bronze trim and maiden’s head on the front; cabinet has a single door in the base with oval painted porcelain plaque inset in the center with a scene of a man and woman. Tapered pilasters on either side of the door are inlaid with reeds and autumn filigree with bronze capitols at the top. Concave sides have gilt incising around floral inlays and carved corbels on the ends. Has a maple lined interior and a good ebonized original finish.
