An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1986, partially indistinct. Ring size L. Weight 4gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

Sapphire patchy medium blue to almost colourless, fairly well saturated, to minimal saturation, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Angular colour zoning can be seen with the naked-eye.

Diamonds well matched.

Diamonds bright.

Some diamonds show some fairly obvious light and dark inclusions, some diamond have no inclusions obvious under 10X magnification.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
