Geo. Hattersley & Son was a textile machinery maker in Keighley, Yorkshire in England. The company was founded in 1789. The company produced the first power loom in 1834 for weaving worsted cloth which previously had only been woven on handlooms. This catalog of products is circa 1870. The album (rebound) size 11 x 14.5 inches, 28 x 37 cm. The 71 albumen photographs are 8.45 x 11 inches, 21.5 x 28 cm. A rare album from this period. The Hattersley companies survived till 1983.
