Item Details

Description

This is a rare surviving booklet published in 1944, “Courtesy of the Natal Daily News”. Jock Leyden was named by Time magazine as one of the top six newspaper cartoonists of the 20th century. These publications were used to raise funds for prisoners of war during WW2. The publication is missing the back paper, and the front is almost detached. All inner pages are in good to very good condition with none missing and slight browning. The booklet measures 9 ½ inches by 7 ¼ inches.
