12th-15th century AD. A silver ring with evenly shaped shank with two supporting bands of silver at the shoulders with chevron pattern attached to bezel; flaring and hexagonal bezel engraved with a double headed eagle with cross above and initial at side of beaks. 17.08 grams, 21.93mm overall, 19.42mm internal diameter (approximate ring size British S 3/4, USA 9 1/2, Europe 21.0, Japan 20) (3/4") Property of a Surrey collector; acquired in the early 1970s.
Condition
Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
