Large lithograph poster with jugate portraits of 1880 Democratic presidential candidate Winfield Scott Hancock and running mate William H. English. Portraits separated by shield, flag, and olive branch elements. Includes candidates' names, birth dates, and prospective positions. Each portrait bears "signature," which is an advertisement for Enoch Morgan's Sapolio. Advertisements also appear faintly in negative space. Published by Shipman & Co., 8 Reade St., NY, printed by Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, New York.Some minor smudges in top right corner. One loss (approx. ½”) in English’s lapel. Fragile.

Light age toning throughout. Some minor smudges in top right corner. No major margin defects, staining, or tears. Dimensions: Sight: 20.00 " H x 26.25 " W; Frame: 22.00 " H x 28.13 " W.
