Description
Three items. 1.) Ribbon from the National Convention of the Republican League Club's Buffalo, NY. Dated September 15th and 16th, 1892. 2.) Ribbon from the Grant Club of Albany, NY. Dated 1879-82. 3.) An invitation to the National Anti-Third Term Republican Convention, held in St. Louis on May 6th, 1880, opposing the third term Republican nomination of Ulysses S. Grant. Bears printed signature of Fred Ledergerber and signed in ink by Henry Hitchcock.
Condition
Document in good condition, some water staining and age toning. Very minor margin defects. Ribbons both exhibit age toning and minor stains. Grant Club ribbon bears four small adhesive stains. Dimensions: Document - 10.00 " H x 8.00 " W. Ribbons approx. - 5.00 " H x 2.50 " W each .
