Titled " Portfolio of Views of the United States Military Academy , West Point , N.Y. " , this navy blue folio contains six impression in color from the wood cut engravings of the renowned artist Rudolph Ruzicka ( Czechoslovakian b. 1883 d. 1978). Printed by Baker, Jones, Hausauer, Inc Buffalo, NY Copyright 1938. Page one has a brief introduction to the work and the artist as well as the first engraving, featuring a winter toned view of the statue of a Soldier with Sword raised high on a plinth with a cannon behind him and a flag unfurled. The images that follow on separate sheets are titled: " Fort Putnam" , "Cadet Chapel ", " Washington Hall" , Administration Building" , and lastly " Cullum Hall" . Each engraving is printed on a rich cream art quality paper measuring 18 1/2 in by 12 1/4in and folded in half with the image displayed on the inner fold surface of 9 1/4 in by 12 1/4 in. Folio 9 1/2 in by 12 1/2 in.Condition: Each of these fine art quality prints is in as new condition with no noted issues. The protective blue folio jacket has light dust and signs of rubbing wear to edges and spine.
