Model: Q180 by Walter Schott (1861-1938) – German Sculptor and modeler
Underglaze blue crossed-swords mark with canelation mark, model number as well as the painter signet
Height: 36.1 cm
The boule player is regarded as a masterpiece of the sculptor Walter Schott. Presented first in 1898, in the course of the Dresden art exhibition, it ranks today among the classics of the Meissen Art Nouveau figures
Condition:

Four fingers of tge right hand are missing. The leafs on the reverese of the socket show some losses. The height of 36.1 cm. (bde)
