Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chimu, ca. 1100 to 1470 CE. This is a canteen-shaped black ware jar with two small, seated birds perched on the shouders and an upside-down conical spout rising from the body. The body sits on a flared foot decorated with geometric triangular patterns. Size: 6" W x 9.4" H (15.2 cm x 23.9 cm)
