Description
Roman Empire, made and found in Britain, ca. 2nd century CE. Some of the most desorable of all Roman potteries are those coming from their British occupation days. Very sculptural jar in grayware fabric, small thin foot sweeping outward to wide midsection and then thins again as it sweeps up toward the rim. A lovely form and rare to find! Size: 4" H (10.2 cm)
