Description
1st item: Chinese watercolor on silk painting, depicting an aged scholar sitting on a garden seat in front of a screen, talking with a child and two middle aged adults. A house and bridge with flowering dogwood trees are in the background. Calligraphy inscription/signature and seal stamp upper right. Image - 14" H x 10" W. Framed - 17" H x 13" W. Circa 1900. 2nd and 3rd items: Two Blanc de Chine Guan-yin or Bodhisattva figures, one holding a string of beads, the other with hand tucked under robes. 3 1/2"H. Condition
1st item: overall very good condition with minor light discoloration. 2nd item: Guanyin holding beads has miniscule chip/flake to the flower bud in her hair. Guanyin with hand under robes has repaired break to neck.
