Description
Egyptian, New Kingdom to Late Dynastic, Dynasties 20 to 26, ca. 6th century BCE to 332 BCE. Fine limestone stele of tablet form carved in two reliefs, upper panel depicts a standing Horus wearing the double crown confronting a priest or another god with an offering table with loaves of bread or fruit between, Horus holding an ankh in his right hand staff in his left. In the lower panel a procession of 3 attendants or priests walk left, hands held high, one holding a sistrum. Remains of original red pigment throughout. A very fine example! Size: 7.75" W x 9.25" H (19.7 cm x 23.5 cm)
