Chinese Ming Dynasty stem cup (high bowl) of a simply deep vessel, with round cavetto emerging the steep side wall to slightly flared rim, raised on tall splayed foot base. The sturdily potted in bell-shaped receptacle is incised to the center of the interior. The height of the foot is half the height of the entire object. Covered over all with a soft olive green glaze. The glaze stopping above the foot rim, revealed the orange reddish brunt foot rim of firing flaws.
