Pair of cooper-red monochrome glazed porcelain, finely potted of simple deep vessel, steep sides everted from rounded cavetto to open wide flat rim, raised on slightly concave foot base. The exterior reserved in plain cooper-red glazed ground. The interior decorated with hand painting of Utpala, the night lotus blooms, with its tendrils in cobalt blue against plain white underglazed, ended with double fine rings compromising the cavetto and outer rim.

Mark on base, four blue script -KaiShu- characters, Ruo Shen Zhen Chang.
