Chinese MING phoenix porcelain Bowl of deep reversal bell shape body, raised on slightly concaved foot base, exterior delicately hand painted with underglazed cobalt blue depicting a graceful phoenix flying amidst night lotus blooms and its scrolling tendril, above a band of repeating ruyi pattern. The central interior showing a circular painting with similar design, bordered with scrolling tendrils band on the rim.
Elegantly presented upon a carved wooden stand.


Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- Characters, enclosed by double square lines, XuanDe Reign Period of Great Ming.
