Vintage S/S 1949 Bergdorf Goodman Custom Made Couture Gown /Party Dress Outer shell is white cotton organza, lined with pale yellow lining.Labelled 'Bergdorf Goodman/On the Plaza New York' and 'Miss M. Seiberling/ Date: 6/3/49 / No: 02246 / Desoline' hand written on label. Armpit to armpit 18" , Waist 13" , Skirt length 42"Bergdorf Goodman was copying Parisian designers couture models in their couture salon. This dress also might be a copy of Parisian Haute Couture designer.

Condition

Great condition for its age. There is a repair near hem on back side of the skirt. Soiling next to repair as seen on photo. There few light stains on skirt as seen on last photo, very hard to notice because of pale yellow lining.
