Description
North America, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. This is a really fun piece of 20th century folk art, one of my favorites! A carved wood bust of a deer, painted bright red, with black and white details. The eyes are wide and the mouth is in a very-un-deer-like grin, with small, human-like teeth. He has real antlers that have an excellent aged patina. Size: 8.75" L x 7.75" W x 19.75" H (22.2 cm x 19.7 cm x 50.2 cm).
