Franz Revesz Ferryman, Hungarian-American, 1893-1947, Vajdahunyad Castle and with Swans, 1918, o/b, signed lower left Note: Ferryman was born in Hungary and attended Budapest University where he studied architecture. He went on to study painting in London with Walter Sickert and Frank Brangwyn. He emigrated in the 1920's to the United States and settled in Little Neck, New York.
Over the course of his lifetime he had over thirty internationl one man shows in venues such as Philadephia, Chicago, Australia, Dresden, Budapest, London, and New York.(PFOS5101)(MM).
