Egypt, Late Period to Ptolemaic, 712 to 30 BCE. A faience ushabti, turquoise blue in color and depicted in mummiform, with his fisted hands holding agricultural implements, a seed bag over his left shoulder, his chin with characteristic braid, and his visage with nicely delineated facial features framed by a tripartite wig. A nice example. Size: 5" H (12.7 cm)
