Description
Steinway & Sons (American/German, founded 1853- ), circa 1960. Fine art case upright or console piano with mahogany wood case, model #100 having a hinged fold down lid, accelerated action with diaphragmatic soundboard raised on front reeded, turned legs. Piano marked with maker on front of case "STEINWAY & SONS". Piano also marked with serial number "369310", "Q787', and "100". Overall case approximate height 40.62", width 57.25", depth 23.75".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. No apparent cracks to sound board. Keys all seem to work, with some scratching, soiling, and smudging overall. Case with some minor scratching, chipping, and abrasions overall to body and legs, with a two chips and approximately a 2" abrasion to the front. With cleaning, would likely clean up nicely. Needs to be tuned. No other apparent signs of damage or repair.
