Description
SIGNED BERKS CO., PENNSYLVANIA WRIGGLEWORK / PUNCHED SHEET-IRON / TIN COFFEE POT, soldered two-part body with applied gooseneck spout, reinforced strap handle, and hinged domed lid with brass finial, raised on a flanged foot. Each side decorated with a tulip flanked by flowers in an urn-form vase, with three chain bands below. Stamped "M. UEBELE" on top of handle. Excellent original surface. Circa 1840. 10 3/4" H, 5 3/4" D base.
Very good condition, lid with some small dents to dome causing three minute splits, also sits slightly high, 2" band of heavier solder below rim band on one side, probably as made.

Provenance: From a Florida estate collection.
