This necklace was HANDMADE during the 1940s and the clasp is made from PLATINUM with partial 18K on the clasp tongue. The clasp is centrally bezel-set with 1 OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND of J-K color, SI1 clarity that weighs approx. .35 ct. It is also bezel-set with 2 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of G & H color, SI1 clarity that weigh approx. .20 ctw. There are an additional 18 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of G to J color, SI1 to I clarity that weigh approx. .52 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. 1.07 ctw. The clasp is detailed with 4 synthetic BLUE SAPPHIRES that are BAGUETTES weighing approx. .60 ctw. The clasp alone measures 1"? long by almost 1/2"? at the widest point. GORGEOUS SPARKLE & COLOR with CLASSIC ART DECO DESIGN! There is a SINGLE STRAND of SALTWATER CULTURED PEARLS made up of 49 pearls that measure 8.91 - 9.23 mm. The pearls have a LIGHT CREAMY HUE that is common of original vintage pearls. They have a few minor blemishes that you must look for to see, so this STRAND LOOKS FABULOUS ON THE NECK! The pearls have great luster and are PERFECTLY MATCHED! The necklace is MATINEE LENGTH measuring 20.5"? long. The total weight is 58.7 grams.
