Description
Chinese, likely late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A collection of four jade articles comprising two white or celadon jade hairpins in the form of ruyi sceptres, an openwork carved celadon or white jade disc depicting a courtly figure on horseback amid cloud scrolls, and a figural carved spinach green jade koi fish. Each apparently unmarked. Longer hairpin approximate length 5.25", shorter approximate length 3.75". Dish approximate diameter 2.25". Fish approximate height 2", width 4.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
