Description
After Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985), "The Blue Cow"-1967, lithograph on wove paper, printed by Mourlot Studios (French, founded 1852), apparently unsigned, inscribed to verso of sheet "MARC CHAGALL. Lithographie originale en 18 couleurs pour XXe siecle no 29 (Mourlot, impr., Paris)." and "00111 5780A", inscribed to verso of frame "Chagall 001111". Whimsical abstracted print depicting a figure on the back of a blue cow with legs splayed and a bird perched on the figure's back, with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Framed approximately 17.125" x 14.125". Sheet approximately 12.25" x 9.5".
