Description
Description: Circa 1920 Real Photograph Postcard; Circus sideshow promotional photo depicting black albino brothers, Willie and George Muse, ie; "Eko & Iko". Research indicates that they were discovered in Roanoke, Virginia and kidnapped by sideshow agents, being told that there mother was dead. The brothers toured extensively with Barnes Circus and Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. It is interesting to note that their mother found them later in their career and took legal measures to secure their freedom, along with back pay. However, the brothers returned to the sideshow business and continued to perform until 1961.
