Description
Tech Sgt. Marion Ray was the favorite nephew of J. Howard Quinn and was reported as missing in action, and later killed in action as a radio-gunner on a WWII Bomber. These awards were later issued posthumously to the parents of the fallen soldier and left to Howard upon their death. Also in this lot is the article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch listing him as missing in action and a photograph of him and his crew in front of their bomber and an airborne kerchief.
