First half 20th century, including a Pueblo Indian gourd rattle, polychrome-painted on light blue field, with a carved wooden handle (11.25'' H x 5'' Dia.); a Hopi wicker plaque centering a polychrome Kachina portrait (2'' H x 17'' Dia.); and a Hopi dance kilt with applied multi-colored woven geometric panels to each end (16.75'' H x 39.5'' W), 3 pieces, est: $500/700

Condition
Overall good condition, with general wear commensurate with age. The rattle with losses to painted decoration and scattered cracks to gourd commensurate with age, the longest approximately 3.5''. Plaque with fading to concave side and scattered very minor nicks and abrasions. The dance kilt with general wear, discoloration and scattered stitch loss to geometric panels commensurate with age, primarily to blue threads.
