Item Details

Description

This incredible porcelain tall lidded jar features Oxblood glaze. Four sentinels which mimic the handle of the lid are evenly spaced on the top rim of the jar; each is stamped with two TT marks. 7" diam x 9-1/4" h. In addition to Tom’s signature on the bottom and the date indication for January, 2002, the jar has the incised Peachblow Pottery stamp.

Tom Turner’s work has appeared in Craft Horizons, American Craft, Ceramics Monthly, Studio Potter, The Washingtonian, House Beautiful and Southern Living.
