Impressive magnum sculpture created by John Lotton in 1998. The polished front reveals a growth of orange and white orchid-like flowers set above a double layering of thin leaf blades of blue, cobalt and black. The reverse of the sculpture has a Verre de Soie surface casting a rainbow of colors and provides yet a another view of the leaf blades, only now they appear as if standing in morning fog. Signed by John with the creative date on the front. A striking example of creative workmanship. Height 10 3/8 inches by 9 1/2 inches wide. Weight is a whopping 22 pounds. Excellent original condition.
