William Malczan (American, Cincinnati, present day) acrylic on masonite entitled Coney Island Babe a view of a merry-go-round horse with Coney Island Park in the background. Done in 1986, the painting is signed, titled and dated on the back along with a complete listing of materials used. Bill Malczan is an accomplished artist who, because of the meticulous nature of his work, only manages to complete a very few works in a years time. It would be damning with faint praise to call him an amateur artist but in fact, he does have a job in the work-a-day world. Sight size is 21 1/4 by 16 inches and with newer frame, overall size is 28 1/4 by 22 3/4 inches. Excellent condition.
