Both chairs exhibit wear to gilt finish as well as scattered losses to gilt finish; the greatest wear to the surface of the arms. The largest concentration of gilt loss is at all four back paw feet. Chips, scratches and paint finish losses throughout. The upholstery exhibits light soiling. The trim is tattered in spots.
