These earrings are convertible - you can remove the long drop and just wear the top huggie portion for a more casual look. I would suggest to have some type of chain & bale made so that you could wear one of the drops as a pendant. The earrings are set with 2 NATURAL COLOMBIAN EMERALDS that are PEAR SHAPES weighing approx. 8 ctw in total. They have a FINE INTENSE GREEN COLOR and are moderately to heavily included. *Emeralds are classified as TYPE III stones, meaning that they almost always have inclusions that are visible to the unaided eye. Type III stones have 4 clarity grades ranging from 'Slightly Included", "Moderately Included", Heavily Included", to "Severely Included". The pear emeralds measure 18.08 x 7.72 x 6.24 mm and 17.93 x 7.62 x 5.69 mm. A couple of the inclusions reach the surface of the stones, but you need to intently inspect them to see it. The earrings are also set with 18 NATURAL COLOMBIAN EMERALDS that are VARIOUS FANCY SHAPES weighing approx. 2.0 ctw. These emeralds range from slightly to heavily included and also have an nice intense green color. The earrings are set with 4 TRIANGULAR SHAPED DIAMONDS of J-K color, SI1 clarity that weigh approx. 1.80 ctw. They are also set with 96 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, SI1 to SI3 clarity that weigh approx. 5.20 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx a WHOPPING 7 CARATS! The earrings are long, measuring 2-7/8"? in entirety, with the top huggie portion alone measuring 1-1/8"? long by 3/4"? at the widest point.
