The painting by Wilhelm Reinicke shows an atmospheric forest landscape. Painted in bright colours the forest trail leads along a glade, flanked by trees that soar past the image area. Sunbeams find their way through the trees, creating a light rich in variety along the path.



The condition of this painting is good, showing only slight traces of age and use. Signed lower right “WReinicke” the back also shows a hand written, partly illegible, lable “Sonniger Waldweg. Wilh. Reinicke […]“. The overall dimensions without frame are 73.5 x 63.5 cm.
